Some tough news as our friends overseas from the Vector Martini Offshore Race Team take a hard roll during testing in Hampshire earlier this week well trying to avoid a buoy in front of the local marina resulting in life treating injuries to a teenager on board. Earlier reports from lots of sources overseas say that 4 men were onboard at the time of the accident and that all sustained some injures but the teenage boy had sustained major head trauma and other injuries which required him to be air lifted to a local hospital well the others were attended to onshore by emergency services who were called into the scene quickly after witnesses saw the boat go over. It was also said that the one of the men from the crew was seen returning to the capsized boat to help retrieve the injured teen in a heroic act. We will keep you posted as more details become available from the team and we want wish all of the crew a speedy recovery.
