The coming weekend makes the 2015 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, definitely the years biggest event which is set to again have one of the largest turns out to date as this event has become a must attend for all performance from across North America and around the world. This year we are sure to see some impressive numbers put up as many 200 MPH+ boats are on hand to see if the can put up the fastest run of the weekend along with lots of other boats taking to the water to earn the top spot in their respective classes. This years 1000 Island Poker Run with Poker Runs America was another huge success as over 100 poker runners from across Canada and the US met up in Kingston, Ontario to have some fun on the St. Lawrence. Everything you could imagine was on hand this year of all sizes and power including several turbine boats who made an appearance My Way, Aqua Mania and Como’s 51 Airborne all hitting the water saturday morning to raise fund for local charities. With weather holding on for the participates the weekend could not have gone any better with fans on hands by the thousands to check out the boats on display all Friday at the block party as well as Saturday to watch runners head out from the break wall and hotel balconies lining the bay. The run was again covered from the air providing spectators the unique opportunity to watch the run in the PRA Speedzone in the water front park giving them the chance to experience the fun that all of us have come to thrive on from poker runs. This past weekend F1 H20 teams fought it out in Porto, Portugal which saw a huge turnout as fans lined the water way to watch some of the top international F1 tunnel boat drivers go head to head. With lots of fast times put up this weekend and bumps and spills fans got to witness one of the most fearce races of the season as Philippe Chiappe narrowed the point lead on series leader Shaune Torrente to only a 2 point difference.
