Next week at the 2014 Barrett-Jackson ScottsDale Auction the well recognized 39RP MTI "MOJO" also now known as the “Miami Vice” boat will go back up for action. For those of you that don’t know this is in fact the boat used in the feature film “Miami Vice” released in 2006. The boat was used by Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx along side world champion powerboat racer John Tomlinson who drove the boat as a stunt driver for filming.  Once the filming of the movie was complete the boat was sent to crew at Visual Imaginations for a movie themed paint job to truly set this boat off. The graphics are a true piece of art on this boat with no attention to detail left out and even includes scenes from the movie in a film strip layout down the side of the hull.

This boat comes rigged with a pair of Mercury Racing 575's that come equipped with Whipple Stage 3 upgrades allowing them to produce over 750hp all put to the water by #6 Drives making this boat capable 120+ Mph. The 39RP has become a well reputable model from Marine Technologies Inc. and this one definitely comes with all the works and even includes a matching custom H2 Hummer convertible with an American Tilt trailer making it easy to haul to a local poker run near you. It would definitely be nice to see this boat find a good home after all these years so for those of interested head over to Barret Jacksons Official site and search lot# 5033 in the Scottsdale listing’s for new weeks auctions for you chance to own this cool piece of movie history.
