Tuff Showcases New Ilmor Power 21 Footer For The First Time

This week at the 2014 Toronto International Boat Show lots a big builders and dealers were on hand to showcase their new products. This year was a special one for Canadian performance boat builder Tuff Boats based out of Ontario, Canada and ran by well known ex-tunnel boat and offshore racer Mark Weigl, who celebrated their 10th anniversary which included the release of their latest model.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Tuff Boats for over the past decade this company has become a well recognized Canadian builder known for their quick outboard powered 21’ and 28’ V-hulls that are capable of speeds over 100Mph. Their latest addition to their line up was a sleek New blue and white 21’ I/O model that comes equipped with an Ilmor 570 on a bullet proof IMCO Drive. This boat has not seen water test yet but they expect to see mind blowing acceleration with numbers approaching 120MPH and with the speeds their outboard models are putting out this would not be surprising. This first model with the 570 has already been sold and is awaiting water trials so will be sure to keep you posted once this boat hits the waters.
