Team Victory Puts Up a Flawless Performance In Spain at the 2014 UIM ClassOne World Powerboat Championship Season Opener!

A solid start to the 2014 ClassOne season overseas in Spain which featured the inaugural V1 Class race alongside the Class1 boats. It was an action packed weekend which tens of thousands of fans witnessed Team Victory set the pace for the season with a stellar performance in both races of the weekend in their Class1 boat to take home the top spot of the weekend. 

Along with the big win from Team Victory a great battle in the V1 Class is brewing as Tommy One took race one and Chaudron boats putting up a fight to win race 2 of the weekend at the Mediterranean Grand Prix. 

The big topic however of the weekend was the tough crash for Al Mansoori and Al Tayer in their new MTI, after putting up the second fastest time in qualifying earlier in the day they came out hard in race 2 and well chasing down Victory at the first turn the boat hooked and went over, but both drivers managed to emerge uninjured and the boat is in reparable condition.

Teams now prepare for the second race of the season in Terracina, Italy October 17th-19th.  Stay tuned for full highlight footage and more to come from the past weekend..
