(Photo courtesy of the Official SBI Media Crew) Its been awhile since Super Boat International teams graced the waters of Marathon, Florida but after 6 years the teams arrived back in area for a special holiday weekend of racing which saw a few solide battles and head to head to match ups between some of the strongest teams in their classes looking for a point lead on this season. Althought numbers were slightly smaller in some classes some awesome battles were seen in the Superboat Stock and Super Boat Class as well a few of the big cats were on hand as promised including CMS Offshore Racing crew with both of their SuperBoat Unlimited Class boats along with Miss Geico whom however didn’t make it out race day due to technical issues with the boat during the practice round Saturday leaving it down to the CMS boats which fans got to witness a great show and head to head battle between both CMS Offshore Racing MTI's as the #03 came out on top to claim to top spot. Catch the live stream from the second round of the season at http://livestream.com/sbi/marathon2015 along this great official video from the SBI Crew…
The USF1 Powerboat Series recently made the journey across the Northern Boarder in Canada for one of the biggest stops of the season as they joined up with Hydroplane Quebec in the historical race town of Valleyfield, Quebec. This event in past has brought in ten of thousands of fans as the town shuts down for the weekend of boat racing and this year was again the same with fans pouring in all weekend long to enjoy the great weather and action from all sizes and classes of Hydroplanes and tunnel boats. The weekend featured some intense action through out all the class especially the outboard guys of the USF1 series who came out hard to put on a great show with several rounds of heated battles between the top contenders including some close calls and few boats getting stuff hard as you can see with Amsoil’s #30 (Rob Rinkers) boat pictured above, but at the end of it all veteran tunnel boat racer Terry Rinker in his #10 boat took the top spot of the weekend to pull in the lead for the series points as well. Shots now up on our official Facebook page and stay tuned for…
