OPA Racing has moved forward with plans to host their 2020 World Championships in Morehead City this year as they are forced to move the event north. Due to Covid-19 restrictions in Florida preventing them for hosting the event in the annual location at Englewood Beach they will return to North Carolina. After forced cancellations of the OPA & P1 other events besides the Crystal Coast Grand Prix this past summer it became apparent to organizers that this would be a easy option if they were to go forward with the World Championships.
A strong fleet is expected to field this years Worlds despite several teams being unable to attend due to boarder restrictions and other factors at this time. OPA Racing has also confirmed that they will be live streaming the coverage.
