The Performance Boat Club of Canada has just got in their second Fun Run of the summer during these strange times. This weekend the group was out on Lake Simcoe in southern Ontario. This was their first of two runs on the lake this summer. This time for Double R’s Fun Run. The weekend saw a smaller but solid line up of participants out. It included Skaters, MTI’s, Nor-Techs, Fountains and more taking to the waters. Although Simcoe has a reputation of seeing some rough waters, this weekend was claim as well as hot making for a smooth fast ride.

Although Canada is has kept the number of cases down as well as seeing cases drop dramatically compared to its counter parts in the United States, it is because of the heavy measures that have put in place from square one to protect people. The Performance Boat Club is following these guidelines as best as possible for a safe boating experience. With social distancing guidelines in place for all participants off and on the water minimizing contact even maintaining passenger limits on the boats. It is allowing the organization to continue put on events safely and effectively well keeping local government officials happy as well making for smooth transition into what could become the new reality for the next few years.
