One of offshore racings most competitive and fastest classes “SuperCat” have confirmed their plans for this year. As most people in the boat racing community know it is a close one, where many teams are not just competitors but friends as well. This is no different for the top SuperCat Class teams, they as a group they have come together over the past several years to work together to make their class a unified one of its own. Taking things into their own hands, teams determine what events they will be representing the class at making for extremely competitive racing as well as fair playing field for APBA National Points.

This past week the group of racers came to an agreement on what races they will be appearing at this season. It’s a pretty extensive list consisting of 8 stops including OPA Racing and P1 events even a couple RWO including the Key West Worlds Championships hosted by Race World Offshore. This is huge news for the RWO who is looking to gain some momentum in their events to help increase their overall boat count. Key West was always one of racers and fans favorite venues in past years and despite certain politic surrounding Key West it would be nice to see Key West return to her glory days of Offshore Racing.
