The future maybe coming sooner than expected to world of power boat racing. The international power boat governing body U.I.M has will be launching the E1 Series marking an era of Electric Powerboat Racing. The series is in an experimental phase as development of the boats and their system continue but for what we’ve seen so far their are some interesting hull designs in the works featuring some high tech configurations. The hulls which are being designed by Seabird Technologies Ltd. will be only available for racing in early stages but are said to become available on the recreational market as well in future.
